I have been on the diet about 5 months and I have had to relax it slightly but I eat very, very carefully still!
I try to eat organic wherever possible and I never touch Sugar
or refined carbs. I have had to cut out nuts as I think I developed an allergy and also cows milk dairy - I was having live unsweetened yoghurt and organic butter but started getting problems with these too. I am changing to Goat dairy now but keeping it very limited. I do eat limited carbs just not refined ones.
My meals would usually be:
Breakfast: Organic Puffed Brown rice with organic unsweetened rice milk OR
organic brown rice cakes with organic butter or home made baked beans OR vegetable ommelete. I also sometimes have half a graprefruit and sometimes treat myself at the weekend to organic unsmoked bacon and scrambled eggs with fried veg.
Lunch: Almost always mixed salad (as varied as poss) normally with either tinned fish (salmon or sardines) or cooked chicken or other meat/fish as available. Sometimes I make homemade vege soups too.
Dinner: Various meat or fish (grilled or roasted) with lots of steamed veg, sometimes roasted veg and occasional very small sweet potato or tablespoon of rice. I also use candida cook books a lot for dinner and make up lovely meals like Lamb Moussaka!! Yummy!!
Treats/snacks: Daytime snacks are vegetable sticks and organic apple rice cakes and the very occasional packet of plain crisps. Evening snacks/deserts are stewed rhubard, live yoghurt with flax seeds,, buckwheat pancakes with lemon juice (YUMMY!), pumpkin seeds sometimes. I use Stevia and a little Xylitol to sweeten things which works a treat!!
Drink: Only water or water with lemon.
