Yeah, Brittany, I agree it's pretty startling . . . I was pretty taken aback when I saw that and I think it's a strange combo of good & bad . . . I mean, now that organic stuff is hitting mainstream, we can potentially be a more healthy world community . . . maybe all Americans will embrace raw foods as a fad and stop claiming a name of the most unhealthy nation anymore -- which would be wonderful. . . but I'm also worried because, with all the big name corporations taking a strong hold in this way, maybe the local family farmers will have their livelyhood swept out from under them . . . i don't know if I can say one way or the other as to whether it's good or bad, but I'm going to try and stick with my local farmer's markets and coops as much as possible, and maybe grow my own organic food in the future

thanks for bringing this up, though, really interesting!
