>I could be wrong on my theory about this, but I think having low body temp is keeping me from gaining control over my candida, mainly due to the fact that before the thyroid meds anytime I did anything physical that raised my temp it put me into horrible die off. I'll keep everyone posted as to how my theory is working out. Also, with my temp up my energy level is a lot better.
Hi Deb, I agree with you re the temps. That's why naturopaths usually suggest things like hot tubbing/sitz baths to induce a fever as it's one the ways the body overcomes illness. In chronic illnesses, the body is unable to have 'acutes' which although are uncomfortable are very healing. They really have to be done under supervision, esp things like hot tubbing.
Having said that, traditional naturopaths wouldn't have had to deal with the high of pollutants eg mercury we get today so just inducing fevers etc may not be enough. As Johnny said, mercury may well be an issue for you even though it's not been picked up in the tests.
Perhaps doing extra enemas will help with any die-off you get, plus extra liver support etc.?
