Re: Another Salt/C update - immune suppression
CL,
Thanks for the info. Yes, you were lucky to get a positive test....saves you from alot of frusteration of not knowing why you've been sick. I don't have insomnia or the other symptoms you mentioned. I only get exausted if I mess up on my diet. I know I have Candida but was thinking there must be an underlying cause so I try to rule things out. I asked my doc to test me for Lyme but I'm not expecting anything. I went camping a couple months before my health declined and there were alot of deer around me (maybe because I was feeding them) thats the only reason I thought about Lyme. Mercury seems a more likely culprit because I also had some dental work done around the same time. My dentist unnecessarily removed 2 amalgams, replacing them with gold crowns. The new crowns came into contact with my 2 remaining
Amalgams causing galvanic reaction. I had electrical type shocks in my mouth, excess saliva and a metal taste. Prior to this I was healthy my entire life. I've since had to remove the crowns and the remaining
Amalgam and lost a tooth due to poor healing. I ended up with Graves Disease a couple months after that first dentist visit and I havent been healthy since. Now I know I'm also dealing with Candida. I don't know if all this is just one big coincidence. I did take standard urine and blood tests for metal toxicity at Kaiser as well as a hair analysis...none showed high levels of mercury. I guess thats all I can do at this point since I've already removed all the metals from my mouth. I do see improvement on the diet and I did take
Antibiotics , smoked, had a fast food diet, and lived a stressful life. Maybe that was enough to cause Candida and there really is no underlying illness.
