Maybe there is a connection...the week before I started having symptoms, that I ultimately concluded were symptomatic of candida overgrowth, I had pushed myself really hard in my triathlon training, particularly on the weights...much more than I had ever pushed...so, perhaps there is a connection...particularly between the bulk training (lots of weight, few reps) as opposed to strength training (less weight, fewer reps)...so maybe you could try strength training...I have done very little training in the last 2.5 months...so i couldn't tell you if it's worked for me...i am just giving my body a break
