I've read recently that weightlifting isn't good if you have candida. The muscles tearing down and then being built back up supposedly allows candida to flourish a little bit.
What does everyone think of this? I was 175 pounds before I started on the candida diet and now rarely work out (because my symptoms do indeed seem worse a for a few days after a weightlifting workout) and now I'm down to 152 lbs. While the first ten pounds were nice to lose, it isn't so nice anymore.
I need help getting some weight back and weightlifting would definitely help.
