Re: "tapping" the thymus--where is it?

Hi,

Yes I believe Armour is much better than Synthroid. Johnny Vegas has a lot of info on thyroid and adrenals in his blog "The Vegas Files". Also a quite clued up group on thyroid issues is...http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormones/

Yes I agree things like acupuncture etc are great adjuncts to nutritional therapy but if you can do something for yourself all the better as it's free!

The thymus is located about 2 inches down from your collar bone, about a quarter of the way down your sternum.

Apparently tapping over this area will...

- stimulate all of your energies
- boost your immune system
- increase energy and vitality

It can also help if you're feeling bombarded by negative energies, catching a cold, fighting an infection, or if your immune system is otherwise challenged. Thumping the thymus wakes it up and aligns it.

First breathe deeply and firmly tap over the area with four fingers of each hand for about 20 seconds.

(from Donna Eden's "Energy Medicine"....great book!)

You can do it several times a day. I'm a bit of a hypocrite as I haven't made a habit of doing it myself even though I have similar problems to yourself!

Hope that helps and good luck with all the cleansing :)

Anne
