"tapping" the thymus--where is it?

I am hypothyroid and likely insufficient in the adrenals as well. Doctor put me on Synthroid as thyroid replacement and it didn't do enough positive to make the negative side effects worth it. I've heard that Armour thyroid is much better, and may try that after I'm done with my cleansing and flushing cycles.

I'm also hoping that my thyroid/adrenal insufficiencies will work themselves out once I get the candida under control, as I've read that it often happens that way (Andreas, Shelly, etc).

BUT, I would love to give my thymus some easy (and free) support during my cleansing regimen and the tapping intuitively sounds like a great idea since acupuncture and reflexology are always big boosters to my well-feeling.

Where is the thymus externally, and how hard do you "tap"?
