Re: Hello and general update
Hi CL,
>do you notice that you get much much worse after cheating? or do you notice that it doesn't make too much of a difference to your underlying condition?
I coped OK at the time actually...even though I totally indulged in everything, not just choccy fudge cake...I had bread, mince pies, cheese, brightly coloured sweets that were full of E numbers, I was also drinking Baileys! (Irish cream whiskey). However I ate a lot of protein which I think acted as damage limitation. I did a lot of enemas when I got home..but then was really ill a few weeks later and I still haven't really sussed out what brought that on...though no doubt the Xmas feasting wouldn't have helped.
> no. that advice is outdated. salt is really really necessary for the body to fight disease (check out the essay i wrote for JV). there is a small small percentage of the population that get increased blood pressure with sodium, but those guys tend to regularize their blood pressure if they keep taking salt.
Yes the traditional naturopathic view that you should cut out sodium and up the potassium seems to have been extrapolated to every other illness.....cancer, yes up the potassium a la gerson, but others conditions probably more salt/sodium that's needed. The salt thing isn't just related to blood pressure eg I have low blood pressure, due to weak adrenals/mercury which implies more sodium but I'm even lower in potassium so I have to be careful not to overdo the salt. If I had lyme I don't know how I'd cope with the salt/c treatment! The treatment sounds absolutely fascinating though, the way you describe how it may work.
Thanks for the lymie link, I will pass it on.
Sounds like a good idea to take thymus support.....a friend of mine was looking into this for his Hep C....a guy called Lloyd Wright (wrote about curing himself of HCV), attributes using frozen thymus, amongst other things to his recovery (it's not the same as a glandular). He sells it himself now....very expensive though....it's about $200!!!! Physically tapping (hardish) your thymus several times a day can really boost it too (apparently).
Re the glandulars I'm getting nausea and some heart flutterings with them (how romantic!)...Johnny's been helping me out...maybe I'm just getting used to them. I got them from Nutri-West (adreno lyph and t-lyph...Argentinian source).
I don't think I'll get more help from Cutler....none has been offered....I'll probably just be an anonymous footnote in his next book lol! It will be my claim to fame!
