Re: To Anne/Boronia
Hi,
>Thats not true. Low Stomach acid is one of the hardest (if not the hardest) things to correct. There are no "glandulars" you can take to repair your gastric secretory cells. The cellular energy required to produce stomach acid has been likened to going *up* Niagra falls in a barrel. HCL Supplements are completely inadequate in my personal experience. If I could correct my stomach acid problems, I wouldn't be ill. Look on the web for how to raise stomach acid - you won't find a thing.
I suppose it depends on how bad it is...and what's causing the problem. I think with me and you it's linked with poor endocrine, as poor sodium and potassium regulation (due to weak adrenals) will result in a decrease in stomach acids, so yes just taking HCL won't solve it. I forgot about that...god I feel so thick at the moment!
>Thats like saying if you eat too much enzyme rich healthy food its bad for your body! It doesn't make sense.
Yes you're probably right....and my brain is too inadequate to think of a reply to this!
>This is what I found re: hair loss:
"Candida can cause hair shedding in male or female patients. The exact mechanism is unclear because there are so many possible pathways. The three most likely pathways are thyroid dysfunction, allergies and enzyme suppression."
Thanks for that info...I think mine is definitely linked to hypothyroid/mercury and maybe not carrying on with liver flushing....I only did one in January then got too ill to carry on.
>I have a tiny patch on my body where I have some (skin) candida and accompanying hair loss. I also have a bigger patch (tennis ball size) where there is no candida - just hair loss. But the good news is that my hair is slowly returning in that area, so hopefully I'm doing something right.
Glad it's growing back...it's always a great boost to see some improvements!
I've always had a bit of head hair loss over the years, so that was probably connected to candida but this has gotten much worse literally just over the past month or so....it's lucky I have a lot of hair so I don't think it's too noticeable at the moment!
Thanks again Johnny for the reassurance over glandulars...I'm kind of looking forward to starting them now :)
