Re: Chlorella, chelation, heavy metals - HAIR ANALYSIS
You're absolutely right about the hair analysis test, which is why it's very important to get help from someone who can interpret it properly. If no toxic metals appear on the test, it's not confirmation of anything. Someone who is toxic with metals can have high OR no reading of the metals. No reading, plus a load of health problems strongly could suggest the metals are hiding within the cells.
No hair test is going to pick that up. Anything that does show up on a hair test is just a reflection of what has been circulating in the blood over the past few months, so a high reading could mean a few things....recent exposure, you've recently had your
Amalgams out or due to chelation.
You have to look at the nutrient mineral levels on the test...this is probably more important, regardless of the toxic metal levels.
Andy Cutler seems to be one of the few people who stesses this. He's written a book about how to interpet hair tests. Can't remember the exact title right now.
Good luck with your chelation programme...it sounds good though be careful not to rush things. A quarter of a cup of cilantro sounds a lot to me, though you may be fine with it. Also some people react badly to chlorella. Make sure your bowels move regularly!
