Re: To #17329 - Interesting (and I need to vent)
You wouldn't know if chlorella agreed with you or not until you tried it, but it should be stressed that this is a risk (as of course most things in life are), as you may belong to the group of people who cannot handle it. I've tried chlorella a couple of times and both times I felt extremely wired and on edge, abnormally so and it was very difficult to cope with. It just felt too much so I just followed my gut instinct and stopped. Yet other people have said to me "Oh that means it's working, you should carry on!" They obviously didn't have a clue about what I'd experienced.
CL, I mentioned the frequent dose chelation group....did you not see it? There are people on there, including myself who have had bad experiences of using chlorella. You'd need to join the group to see the messages. Everything you mentioned has been discussed on that group and also in the Autism/Mercury groups.
If you had mercury in your brain, apart from having psychological symptoms of which there are many eg depression, decline in intellect and memory, social phobia, obsessional thoughts etc etc (Cutler goes into this in great detail in his book), there could also be endocrine problems as merc in the pituitary, hypothalamus etc, will disrupt hormone production leading to problems such as adrenal fatige, hypothyroid etc.
Just go by your symptoms, hair analysis and counting rules. Yes you have low levels of minerals. Sort this out first before considering chelating with anything.
