Re: Looks like a scam to me
Hi Johnny,
I phoned them earlier to ask about the test. The woman was very nice actually (not that that means anything!). She said the test is like the one used by the police in looking at the genetic susceptibilities in people through the hair. The said the 'practitioners' are qualified in nutrition and bio-energetics, which is a bit vague! The machine they use is called a 'molecular frequency scanner' and 'works on the information contained in the root of the hair'. It's from Germany and some guy is going to phone me back later and tell me more about it though I doubt I'll understand what he tells me!
That makes sense what you say about the chemicals and hydrocarbons, I didn't ask her about that.
Yes I don't like the premium rate number either, though I think the test itself is not too expensive.
I don't think what that woman was prescribed was very different to what a regular nutritionist would prescribe. Also you wouldn't have to take the supplements they recommend. If I was going to have it done, I'd decide for myself what I was going to take regardless if they'd tested me for those particular supplements or not. I'd just be interested to see if they picked up mercury. They do seem to mostly recommend Metabolics above all others which suggests they might be benefitting from that.
Someone from Shelley's site is having it done so when she feeds back her results I'll let you know. Though there's no way of challenging it if you don't know yourself what is going on.
Anne
P.S. She also said all she knows is that it works as people have got better, but she would say that anyway.
