Re: Has anyone actually beaten Candidiasis?

thanks Anne, good to know.

the whole merc. thing is a mystery for me. i have incredibly treatment-resistant candida (everything works for a few day (even bowel cleansing and other cleansing procedures), then i relapse. could be from a poss. giardia infection... but maybe not.

i don't much sound like those at risk groups you mentioned - although my mom had a bunch of Amalgam fillings... and i ate a lot of fish caught from the Great South Bay, (my dad's a big fisherman). my risk factors for metal tox woud be: smoking for 15 years, growing up in NYC, mom's amalgams, the standard vaccines we all get, some fish. (i knew better than to take the hep B vaccine by the time they offered it to me, luckily).

prob. is, diagnosing merc. tox seems very difficult. allegedly hair analyses are an inncurate measure, or at least difficult to read. you say your hair tests "strongly suggest" merc tox... does that mean your mineral profile was whacked?

i've heard a DMPS "challenge" to diagnose merc tox can make you quite ill, and blood tests are completely useless... its hard to figure out whether to chase this angle down or not. (if you are really gonna chelate i have some info on new chelation methods out there, btw)

thanks for all that info though - v. helpful.

C.L.
