Actually, it may not be the yeast that is the problem with baked goods, but rather the wheat. Wheat is such a common irritator in candida, causing allergic reactions you may mistake for die off, and wheat products tend to feed candida. Many seem to do ok on other types of breads that do contain yeast. When it comes to the do's and dont's of the candida diet, after you have tackled the obvious (no sugar, watch your fruit intake for the first several months, no wheat) then individual tolerances come into play and you just kind of need to figure out for yourself what you can and cannot eat.
