I never knew you could even buy truly raw cashews. Where are they sold? Health food stores? I've never seen or even heard of them.
As for should they be eaten... little packages of protein and fat, low carbs, sounds good to me. The whole "mold toxin" theory is bunk as far as I can see, I eat cashews like they're going out of style, every day. Usually with other stuff though (stir fry, pies/desserts, shakes), I never have more than a handful by themselves.
