Been struggling with Candida and some food sensitivities (no gluten, dairy or eggs) for at least a year. Definitely better than I was a year ago but I can't seem to get these buggers under control. Though I have to admit that I haven't been the most diligent about sticking to a diet that doesn't feed the yeast or aggrevate my food sensitivities .
So I really want to get rid of the yeast this time. I'm planning on staying on a strict anti-cadida diet and taking high dosage probiotics (20-24 billion/day) for 3-6 months if necessary. Are there any dangers to taking the probiotics for this long besides the usual die-off symptoms from the candida?
What about stevia to help with Sugar cravings? It really doesn't feed the yeast?
