The reason carrots and tomatoes are eliminated from some "candida diets" is due to their sweetness which supposidly can feed the yeast. However I weigh this up against the immune boosting properties of these foods and I personally have never excluded either of them from my diet. However when I have tried to juice carrots and beetroots especially - I have suffered a considerable amount of bloating so I can only guess that the juice is too highly concentrated and is having a negative effect on my candida (i.e. feeding it).
