Re: The myth of the fungus

I've been reading this string of posts, and my experience has been that I do have a bad reaction to mushrooms, nuts and other fermented foods. It doens't seem to be die off from what I can tell. In fact, after eating mushrooms regularly for a few months my yeast spread to my face and head and took a terrible turn for the worse which I haven't been able to come back from. What is your take on this situation? What would be the explaination if the feremented foods are suppose to get rid of it? I'm thinking of trying the saurkraut thing because it does seem logical to put a less virulent strain of yeast in my system to compete with my problem yeast, but in light of my past experience I'm very nervous about it. Looking forward to any info you could provide.
thanks!
