After coming across the book Nourishing Traditions, I have changed my family's diet. Mainly to combat my own candida and to strengthen the digestive systems of my husband and kids. I have read so much lately on using fermented and cultured foods to reestablish intestinal flora. And I've been drinking a good amount of homemade kefir. During this die-off and the emotional, mood-swing roller-coaster, it's hard not to second guess myself. But I have a "gut" instinct that I'm on the right track, and my husband has been so encouraging for me to do this. Your writing was also a great encouragement. Thank you.
