Another benefit of yoga, if you are stressed, it's a wonderful time to stop, drop and dog pose! LOL When my fears for my health, my career, my long list of "to do's" kicks in, if I make myself stop for a bit and stretch, meditating on my breathing, I find a good release. Lately, when I stretch, I have found myself spontaneously bursting out in healing tears, a release of physical/emotional toxins. And, I feel much better afterward. So, if you catch yourself crying during stretching, don't beat it back inside or chastise yourself for it, just think of it as detox through your tears. It should definitely be let out. It will help you heal. I can feel it in my lymph glands immediately. Good stuff.
