Vaginal Yeast and Probiotics research
Probiotics and anti-biotics ; Patents and Publishing
Vaginal Yeast Infections showed up in 23% of the women 18-50 yrs who had taken anti-biotics for 'non-gynocological' infection.
That helps to know that medical
Science has finally admitted that anti-biotics do cause these yeast infections. I don't know your experience, but that had allways been denied in the past with my doctors. As had the gut problems from anti-biotics!
They say now that the anti-biotics kill off the "anti-fungal bacteria" , that control fungal infections. Ya ya, of course it does.
This research was not about that however. This study was to find out if PROBIOTICS would resolve the vaginal infection.
First I have to say that since it was PUBLISHED research, published in the British Medical Journal, it had to be approved by the medical publishing boards who are financed by the pharmaceuticals. They control what gets said on paper.
Any publisher has agreed to abide by the rules, and the rules for medical issues are that this board must approve the material.
It makes sense, we can't have anybody saying this or that about health issues, but it also limits published material to what suits the pill makers.
Okay, thats it.
Now, the research showed that the probioitics did not help.
"Lactobacillus is unlikely to prevent post-
Antibiotic vulvovaginitis" the study says, urging doctros to turn to proven anti-fungal treatment if a patient develops symptoms of yeast infection.
Naw, I think its better to turn to alternative therapies for yeast infections. The drugs cause other problems and may not restore normal bacterial-yeast balances.
They did not say what kind of Probitioics, or how long they used it for, or what the dietary considerations during treatment was - the diet you are on could make Probiotics work well or not work well. The Experts here at CZ will likely know if you should be slightly alkiline during Probiiotics therapy, hence diet could help. Some foods, and booze of course, will kill any chances of it working.
The study patients with vaginal yeast infections may have gone out for drinks with the researchers every night, who knows? - maybe they spread the infection and it returned the same way.
No controls, no protocols. no details...
I think this was yet another set up designed to turn people against alternative therapies.
for yeast infections, I wonder if
Colloidal Silver works as well on them as on other infections? At least to stop them from getting established, the way silver works.
Will doctors eventually be saying to take CS before and during a course of anti-biotics?
And H2O2. Dilute well, rinse if irritation occurs.
And once it is under control, establish the Lactobaccilius with Probiotics. I bet thats the key.
They didn't try to wipe out the infection first.
Neither did they try applications of yogurt directly to the infection.
These studies show that they - pharmaceutical medical research still want ONE THING to work, so handy to just take a pill, just swallow this.
In reality, we are complex, and when using a heavy killer like anti-biotics that interferes with so many systems we have to take a multiple approach to restoring normal function.
