Refrigerated Probiotics

I bought a Solray brand probiotic that needs to be refrigerated. I am worried because I had to walk home from the store and it may have taken about 25-30 minutes to get home.

Do you think all of the bacteria died in the heat. It may have been 80 degrees outside, but I put the bottle in a cup of ice to keep it cool while I walked.

But I am not sure if I had enough ice in it. I am just so worried that I spent 25 dollars on nothing! Does anyone know how long refrigerated probiotics can go without being refrigerated?

How can you test to see if the probiotics are going to work just to be sure. I mean I put them in a glass of milk because I read this is a good way to test and see if it thickens, but I am not sure if I should keep refrigerated while I test. And the milk (which I don't drink) might have Antibiotics in it.

Any experts out there?
