"Spit test" is junk
Sorry to be controversial here, but everything I've heard about the saliva test leads me to believe it is a marketing gimmick employed by threelac et al. to convince people that they have a yeast problem.
My advice is to get several volunteers (family/friends etc.) and do the so-called spit test in conjunction with them. Do it blind so that the person interpreting the results doesn't know whose spit is whose.
I would take 5+ people.
Now if the interpreter says that your spit test is conclusive and the others aren't I would take that as a pretty good sign that the spit test works.
So far I have heard no such evidence to suggest that the spit test works. I have however heard of people testing their entire household only to find that everyone has a "yeast problem".
JV.
P.S. If you want to know if you have candida questionnaire is very reliable. If you want something more concrete there are proper scientific blood/saliva tests available.
Spitting into a glass will get you a dirty glass, thats all.
