Re: Please - What to do to rid candida?

Hi there,

Karen referred you to me. I wrote the article "How to Overcome Candida" at: http://www.nourished.com.au/index.php?s=candida&submit=Go%21 and I also have a Candida Support Group forum at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/candidasupport that Karen belongs to as well.

About Bentonite and psyllium. I do not recommend them. They can adversely affect some people. Also Bentonite contains metal and psyllium can cause adverse reactions as well. I wouldn't recommend a cleanse at the beginning. It is best to gradually introduce any changes to allow your body to adapt and adjust to it, one step at at time. It will overwhelm your body and yourself trying to do too much at one time.

Your body goes through a healing crisis getting rid of candida which takes times and patience. The diet is the most important aspect of the program, i.e. meat, "good" fats (explained in my article), i.e. butter, coconut oil, etc. and low carbohydrate foods (lots of veggies), with no sugars or grains, except buckwheat, millet and some others mentioned in my article. Grains are only safely consumed by anyone when they are properly soaked or leavened to remove mineral blocking enzymes. Also you should not have yeasty, moldy or fungi-type foods.

I hope that helps. Keep in touch letting us know how you are doing.

The best to you,
Bee Wilder
