I've been "reading the mail" on this forum for a while but this is my first posting.
I became aware of candida and candidiasis a couple months ago after repeated visits to my doctor kept yielding the results "I can't find anything wrong with you" but there was obviously something wrong with me, and I tried researching on internet to help sort things out.
I've had many of the symptoms of leaky gut syndrome and candidiasis for at least a year, including "brain fog".
This is what I experience: I feel spaced out, feel like I'm in a dream or somewhere else, kind of dazed, have almost no memory and can't concentrate. The whole world seems foggy and my time sense has even been screwed up. That makes it a bit difficult to drive a car!
My brain fog has been a little less since being on a diet with no sugars or starches and no fermented or yeast products for a month and a half. It did get bad for about a week when I was going through what I'm pretty sure were some "die-off" reactions. It hasn't been that bad since. I still have the other symptoms, the worst of which is bowel grumbling/bloating/gas and spasms.
