Thanks for telling me about the journal site. I'm actually going to submit mine to Alissa Cohen's website to be included in the "Raw In Progress" portion of her website. First I have to make it through my first few weeks. I've been typing mine on Word, but I'd be happy to email you it.
My first day started well, but my store was out of dates, and I wanted raw chocolate. Then I remembered that box of chocolates under my bed and chowed down.
Today was better. Chocolates are GONE and I have fruit and salad with raw dressing. But I did eat some cheese. I've got to get my raw cheese stuff made! Tomorrow I'm going to start with fruit again, then salad for lunch, and raw soup (I hope it tastes OK) for dinner. I'm going to a school function in the evening, and there'll be tables full of dessert. But I'm going to have a banana before I go, and there's gonna be another in the car just in case. I think 4 bananas is a lot, but I don't think we should worry about it right now. The important thing is for us to get past the cravings and get our minds and hearts focused on eating what IS best, rather than what TASTES best. It'll take a while (that's why its called transition!)
SO hang in there, and let's be email buddies for a while!
