Candida growth can be result of many things (antibiotics etc)but as far as I am concerned, it always came after an extended period of severe stress.
The first time I had it, I did not even know what it was. I just observed the allergies, the sneezes and runny nose, the mental fuzz, the bloating, the white tongue etc.
The doctors I went to see did not mention the possibility of severe allergies appearing as a result of candida infestation. So I did not follow a proper diet, nor used probiotics. Nevertheless, by isolating myself from the stress--quitting a toxic job and a difficult marriage--my state of health improved slowly by itself and I was well again after 4 months.
This time, after another period of extended stress, the white tongue is back but I know better: I will try to follow an adequate diet--I dont think being to drastic is necessarily a good idea because it can also make you weak and lose quite a bit of weight. And I will use garlic and rejuvelac. But still, in my case at least, I think no lasting progress can be achieved without first removing myself from the stress.
