Bc of our spirits and souls, we know that we were created by Someone. We are not just matter, veins, a heart, cartilage, hair, nails, etc. We are also spiritual beings, given the gift of life by God.

But this does not preclude that God created an evolving world. Or that history is recorded in one of the many set of myths that have come down to us.
