This is not a sign that the modern theory of evolution is in any way, weak. Rather, it is indicative of the complexity of the processes involved and of life in general. Unfortunately, creationists try to exploit this uncertainty with regard to many of the details of evolution, to suggest that evolution itself is in question among evolutionary biologists, which it is not."

This is pretty obvious and can be observed in nearly every post by the creationist camp. They assume that "we are working on it" automatically means "god did it". The minutia of any complex process takes time to fully characterize, but it does not have to involve god. I'm not entirely sure is not the same as god did it.
