Opiate of the masses

Illogical conclusion. Just once I'd like to find a creationist who can think logically and not depend on fallacious arguments.

Sweetie, the bible is a compiled work of fiction. There is no scientific evidence for anything regarding the creation myth. It is also very short sighted of you to accept this creation myth over all the other creation myths that exist. After all what makes this creation myth more believable that all others? Absolutely nothing, they are all made up, work of ignorant people, a vain attempt to explain a universe they did not understant and give themselves the top position. The reason you believe in the bible is because you are afraid. Afraid of what it means to be a pure product of biology, afraid that all you have is your little life. So you take comfort in the irrationality of religion to sooth yourself.

Beware the man of one book.
Saint Thomas Aquinas

Inspect every piece of pseudoscience and you will find a security blanket, a thumb to suck, a skirt to hold. What does the scientist have to offer in exchange? Uncertainty! Insecurity!"
Isaac Asimov

Scientists do not have to hold their mother's (religion) skirt.

You are very ignorant. You can spout about the bible all you want but the universe is around 12 billion years old, the Earth about 4.5 billion years old. Life 3.5 Billon years old. Humans about 100 000 years old.
