Re: Darwinism is collapsing

We use evolution not darwinism. And it is only under attack by religious nuts, not by rational / critical thinking people. The evidence in its support is ever expanding.

Nature does not evolve, and your mind certainly has not.

Evolution does not make assumptions about the universe. Red Herring!

Culture has nothing to do with evolutions. Red Herring!
Van Gogh or a Mendel. Red Herring

The next sentences are full of metaphysical nonsense not applicable to a discussion of evolution. But nice attempt to confuse the issue.

Some with quick answers

1. The fine-tuning of the physical constants.

Crap. The universe is incredibly hostile to life. 10 ^ 24 stars in the universe -
88 solar systems within 390 ly. None earth like. the universe is a big, empty, cold place. The fraction that is habitable is so small the numbers would be meaningless to you.

2. The stability of a pattern, like the day and night cycle or the body plan of animals.

Physics for day night. Evolution for the other.

3. The Cambrian explosion. Death of species but abundance of phyla.

Evolution.

5. About 70 body plans in a short time period. How can the same environment selects vastly different forms and creates such a high number of novelties?

Evolution.

10. The prevalence and persistence of the 5 finger pattern in major terrestrial vertebrates.

Evolution

11. The evolution of human mind/culture and the future evolution on Earth dominated by the human mind.

Metaphysics, not evolution

12. The prevalence and persistence of the 5 petal design in flowers most relevant to humans. The fascination of human culture with the number 5 and the 5-pointed star.

Philosophy, with a hint of psychology, not evolution. 5 fingers

19. Sex as the dominant way of reproduction.

Wrong. Dominant way of reproduction is asexual.

21. The phenomenon of specified and irreducible complexity.

Go back to the books

22. The un-predictability and randomness of basic building blocks of the micro-world giving rise to a macro-world following the rule of cause and effect.

Wrong.

23. Why beauty/goodness dominates ugliness/evil rather than the reverse in the long run?

Philosophy, not science. Besides who says so you?

24. The purpose of existence and life. The existence of justice and morality. What is life for?

Philosophy, not science

26. Why so many stars, so many galaxies?

Big Universe

27. Why nature follows mathematical patterns?

Physics

28. The absence of ill-adapted or transitional life forms in fossil records.

Erosion, decomposition.

30. Mathematics ...

Brush up on your math, you make no sense.
