Re:Okaythen, liver stones are actually bile duct stones.
Your point is made, good enough on that. There are stones then, in that area. They have pathology associated with them.
An overviews of material presented suggests a standard view of medicine and diet. Allways contentious, I would say your quoted statement here is lacking veracity, its not helpfull -
"A simple low fat, low cholesterol diet without purging and sufficient liquid intake solve the problem. No need to waste money" [end quote]
Low fat diets are not healthy for me.Maybe nobody. Its not even a good way to avoid bile duct stones.
Eat a wide range of whole foods. Fats heal lots of health problems. Too much sugars and the foods that become sugars easily are a big part of the explosion in bowel disease in the past 10 years. Its not a epidemic that has been noted by the authorities, but IBS is affecting about 20% or more of us. It must have something to do with recent chages to our diets, recent meaning during our lifetimes. And that would be processed grreains, the high carbs and starches we found on the shelves, they are so cheap and easy. A lifetime of eating this way has not been good to boomers - IBS is one, diabetis is another.
