Re: Paxil named in class-action lawsuit.

Paxil has been in the news for the teenage suicides while on it - for some, the risk goes UP while on Paxil.

Vioxx was in the news this week too - pulled from the shelf due to hearta attacks and strokes while on it. They only did 5 week sessions , for two years, while testing it out, and so that way missed these long term effects.

Remicaide, an arthiritis drug turned up in the news lately too, turns out it is a lymphoma risk [cancer , right?].

oh well, so some people got cancer. Did they have something better to do? Anyways, its only like about one in 1000's or one-in-a-million that have these problems... 10 million users, maybe 10 deaths. Look at all the ones it helped.

Or, if one gets lymphoma, don't they all get EXPOSED to the same carcinogenic compounds or actions? Ya. So their "total load" went up [of toxins] and they are a step closer to cancer or one of several serious illnesses.

With Paxil, some got addicted, and there is absolutely no protocols for easing the withdrawals which seem to last forever... maybe the subjects have permanent "changes" in brain function. There is no help getting off it; GSK [Glaxo Smith Kline] has allways said it is not an addictive substance [so they can't really help can they].

Are there safe pharmaceuticals, are all the new ones bad? I suppose there are 100s of new pills, but I don't know of any that are not having some intolerable adverse effects.

Maybe there is a common element. Like the fact they all have a base made from petrochemicls from crude oil, but I doubt that is it. but some common element like that.
First Prise will go to anyone who can find the link - any good ideas, conspiracies?

Also, name a drug and I will see if it shows up on the news in the next week.I think we get different news than Americans here in Mexico.
