Re: Acupuncture
I think it is great that you are aware that THOUGHT is what leads to panic/anxiety!
I experienced some cool healer_friend words recently where I was reminded what "worry" is.. It is partially thoughts of the future which have not happened yet and DOESN'T EXIST and thoughts of the past which is OVER and CANNOT BE CHANGED.
Her emphasis was to help me focus on the present moment and not get caught up in the invisible garbage of stuff that only exists in our minds.
Practicing it is harder than hearing it, but it sure felt good to hear!
Anyway, no doesn't make you faint! At least, never me, but I guess if you are super freaked by needles it might. If that is the case, you probably should not do it!
they recommend taking it easy afterwards.. lots of water, relax, get plenty of sleep. It is usually not until the next day when I wake up and once again say "Oh my God!" :)
It varies in intensity but I ALWAYS feel better.
Good luck and let us know how it goes!!
Warmly,
brian
