Last year I experience an ocular migrane. When the episode started I started feel weir, like my brain wasn't as connected to by body as it should be. I noticed a streak of light that stayed in the same place. I completely lost vision in that streak. At first I thought it was the way my eyes were reacting to the sunlight streaming through the window. I walked my son to the bus stop and that is when I noticed I was loosing vision in the "streak". I called my opthamolagist and described my sysmptoms. I was pretty freaked out. She assured me I was fine and that I may or may not get a migrane. Just to relax. She even described it happening to her best friend, also an opthamolist, and she was pretty freaked out too. I normally ends in 15 min but I guess it could last longer.
