I'm a bit wary about storing this at room temperature. Right now room temp is running 80 - 84 degrees. That seems awfully warm to let fruit sit out. Won't it mold? If I leave fruit out on the counter it molds in a few days here. I'm thinking maybe I should store it in the fridge?
Thank you so much for the tip about using ripe fruit! I found two little super ripe pineapples at a fruit stand at a flea market. ($2 each!) The car smelled like pineapple wine all day.
