4 out of the 10 days I went to the gym and did some light cardio, just enough to break a sweat and help those little toxins along. I did not engage in any weight lifting because of the lack of protein during the fast. After you weight lift your muscles are saying "feed me. . . FEED ME!!!" and they aren't screaming for lemons. I could be wrong but I think that if you lift weights and then don't feed your muscles protein, your body will find other ways to get what it wants, ways that are counter productive to building muscle.
