Can we add peppermint by chance?

Great info, and thanks. So far the swf hasn't been so awful for me, but anything to down 32 oz easier will help. This may have been mentioned before, but can a drop of peppermint oil (or other) be added to the salt water safely? I add peppermint drops to my enema water for both smell and to avoid cramping. Curious......
