Help! Ruptured blood vessels in colon - resectioning

Hi Agnes,

My friend's husband recently had a bunch of blood vessels near the surface of his colon that ruptured and bled. The doctor cauterized them and the bleeding stopped. They want to do a bowel resectioning. Her response is "YUK!"

She tried to do some preliminary research, but doesn't have the time all things considered.

She knows there are risks (blockage from scar tissue, interruption of normal peristaltic action of the colon. etc.).

Are there alternatives for healing blood vessels? bioflavinoids? She's asked me to please help, so thought you might some info.

Thank you,
Kmarie
