Uttarakhand’s other major tourist destinations are the Ramnagar Bird Sanctuary, Bhimtal Lake, Gangotri Glacier, and the Auli Valley. Geographical location of Uttarakhand – Geographically located at the eastern end of the Himalayas and nestled among snow capped mountains, the state is surrounded on three sides by India’s two biggest rivers, the Ganges and the Yamuna.
