I still flush when I feel the need and I get stones occasionally and this year I expelled a calcified stone. Since I stopped being active I have been diagnosed with CIPO Chronic Intestinal Pseudo Obstruction. This cause pooling of food in the ileum and bile salts are not recycled as efficiently. The bile is incomplete and tends to thicken and forms stones in the bile ducts. Its called enterolithiasis. When the stones block the bile ducts and my stools become clay like I flush. This has allowed me to keep my gallbladder. It was always suggested that the bowel should be cleaned and working well for the Liver Flush to do its job. In my case the bowel has a chronic problems and I guess it will never be good and I'll always have stones. I now use UDCA prescribed by my doctor to help keep the bile fluid.
