Going for a CT scan while on water fast ????

Hello,

I am currently Water Fasting on my 8th day and I have an appointment coming up for a CT scan on the 13th day, of the spleen area.

I found out that they will be injecting me with Iodine for this specific scan and was wondering if that is a bad idea while i am water fasting.
