Thanks so much for responding! It's a scary and lonely path I'm on here. Any advice and acknowledgement that this is a real thing and I'm not crazy helps more than I can even express in words!
I dont think I explained what's happening clearly in my post. My apologies.
I'm concerned about the free-living larvae/stages of these things. I can't find much research on this aspect of them.
