Re: who is the only begotten son of god?

"Jesus existed before the beginning, but was the beginning of creation because He created it. The same kind of thinking goes for the end only vice versa. I really don't have time to continue a discussion on it, but others may. Your statement makes you sound like you now believe in the deity of Christ, but not the trinity. Well that is a step in the right direction."

i havent changed a thing.  but you still cling to your misunderstanding of what i have said.  you have to.  it gives you an out.

jesus said he WAS the beginning, not something else.

in the beginning was the word.  the word was with god and was god.  thats not a trinity doctrine.  that lets you know where jesus came from.  same as my sons came from me.  and my words i put in them.  jesus is the word of the father robed in flesh.  the father is a spirit  no man has seen the father at any time.  jesus said if you have seen him you have seen the father.  it is through him that we are able to know the father.  the father is a spirit, a consuming fire.  no man can approach him and live.  thats what the bible says anyway.

i have no problem with these things as they are written because i dont believe false christian doctrine.  christ has set me free of those falsehoods.  the truth has set me free..
