Several years ago my right shoulder started to go very wonky. Chronic pain and a strange sort of instability with no history of playing sports or acute injury. After years of fruitless physio appointments and many long, unproductive consultations with orthopedic surgeons supported by almost every investigative mechanism you can imagine (MRI, nerve conduction, CT scan) it was a total mystery.
Enter functional medicine. After overhearing a podcast interview with a functional medicine doctor, he started discussing how dysfunction in the gut can be the wellspring of many other symptoms and problems in the body. This was the breakthrough. After having my organic acids urine analysis completed by that same functional Dr. we flagged that there was a problem in my gallbladder and liver. The right shoulder is famous for referring symptoms from the gallbladder. Bingo!
After a few months of playing around with dieting and supplements and maybe a bit of luck, I exgorged what looks to me like some sort of fluke or worm. I picked them out of the stool and created a video.
I have attached a photo of generic liver flukes which I found on Google. By comparing the two of them to me it seems to be a much. Would much appreciate any feedback from some veterans or more experienced than moi.
I should also say that for the rest that day my shoulder spookily was more stable and about 90% less painful. All symptoms returned shortly after but I'm trying to process this experience with the help of some kind Curezone members
