Re: God?
To fill the vacuum left by the failure of a quick second coming, early Christians engaged in a mental construction of an unseen supernatural world over the 2nd and 3rd Centuries. While the Jewish prophesy referred to a literal and physical ‘Heaven & Earth’ which had failed to arrive, it was replaced in this new supernatural scheme as a non-physical ‘Heaven & Hell’.
It amazes me for people to pray and be reliant upon a non-existent (supernatural) for a non-existent miracle.
It is humans that work so-called miracles yet are told that we must have faith with a non-existent supernatural and to pray to for a miracle that does not exist with this fantasy.
We must separate ourselves from that faith of non-existent supernatural to a faith in ourselves.
That way we will live a happier, healthier and longer life rather than rely on a non-existent supernatural.
Just how many wars must people have because of their beliefs in the non-existent superpowers.
