If your fast is suppose to last only 2 or 4 days, you do not need any salt.
Water is enough.

People may need minerals on a long fasts, like 18 days or longer, especially if they consume large amount of water, and if they sweat a lot.

The next time you fast a short fast, less than 10 days, you can safely skip the salt.
