In fact, Tomi, it was through my personal humbling that brought me full-circle and closer to God than I've ever been in my lifetime. That humility is what propelled me into works of charity and altruism. Those things are necessary to move forward and continue the process of personal growth, and there is a true and unsullied joy in serving as Christ asks me to. I thought that it would be a drudgery, but it's actually amazing to meet these people and hear their stories.

It's a journey. And, the journey is like any other one that we take - flat tires, speeding tickets, etc. But, we still continue moving forward. Tweet
