Rainy, I hope you realize my rebuttal was aimed squarely at the premise of the post, not the ppl behind it. Yes, I gave it short shrift, but I did so in good faith on the basis of what I believe to be sound principles of intepretation. There was no intention to impugn your faith, motives, sincerity, or right to post it 'vicariously'.

As for that PhD comment by our number friend, I have to agree with you. It's one of the more ludicrous comments I have ever encountered on the forum, and I thought his definition of repentance was also somewhat deficient, but that's another subject.

Still, at least trapper has found himself a couple of playmates in the aftermath. I couldn't be happier for him. Let's hope they stick around long enough to give him the support he so badly needs, but failed to get from 'us'.
